The University of South Carolina's Department of Psychology invites applications for a non-tenure-track Instructor to teach undergraduate quantitative and methodology courses in psychology. This is a nine-month appointment, beginning August 16, 2017 and ending May 15, 2018.


This position requires a master's degree in Psychology (Ph.D. preferred) and evidence of instructional excellence. Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Primary responsibilities are to serve as instructor of record for four Psychology classes per semester as assigned by the Department Chair. Class enrollments tend to range from 50 to 200 students, with larger classes typically receiving some graduate instructional assistant support.
