The Admissions Analyst II is responsible for the review and evaluation of applications of admission to an institution of higher education. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and evaluate accreditation status of previous education, institutions attended, academic transcripts, test scores, grade point averages, and other credentials relating to requests for admission to the institution.
Correspond and communicate directly with applicants to advise them of their eligibility status, need for additional information, and/or to provide requested information.
Confer with students concerning admission procedures, degree requirements and directs prospective students to other institution staff members for additional information as needed.
Download web applications and update the applicant files as admission information is received and verified.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Knowledge of admissions office procedures and general computer usage, and university admissions policies and procedures.
Ability to operate office equipment and communicate orally and in writing.
Monday-Thursday 12:30-8 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma.
Two (2) years of experience in institution admissions, documentation review, or a related field.
Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management.
Other job related Education and/or Experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval or the qualifications review committee.
