Faculty Position

Campus: Stony Brook West Campus/HSC

Required Qualifications: Doctoral Degree or Masters Degree in the content area. At least five years professional experience showing knowledge of content area.


Preferred Qualifications: Teaching in a classroom environment or preparing and facilitating workshops for audiences that vary in age and professional background.



Responsibilities & Requirements: The responsibility of the career development workshop instructor is to teach topics that relate to Leadership, Nutrition and other varied topics offered by the School of Professional Development. Teaching can be done face to face or via on line classrooms.



Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: Spring 2018.
