Extension Specialist, Pesticide Safety Education - Entomology

Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to prepare educational materials and conduct training clinics to support the Pesticide Safety Education Program for state licensing requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Required: Bachelor's degree in Entomology or related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Entomology or related field
Required: One year of experience in public speaking, writing, and development of educational materials.
Preferred: Experience with insect identification and pesticide application
Pesticide Applicator License is desirable but not required.
Knowledge of plant pests and their control using pesticides, and a working knowledge of pesticides and their proper use.
This is a 12-month, 100% academic professional position..
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
