General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting application for a Part Time Sr. Database Administrator position. The Part Time Sr. Database Administrator will support full-time DBAs in database administration, systems configuration and maintenance, consulting, some programming, and technical support for the use of Oracle and BANNER in a Linux environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Part Time Sr. Database Administrator will:
  • Complete database administration of the BANNER student information system including configuring, maintaining, and synchronizing versions of various system components.
  • Consult with business and academic units on BANNER system interfaces and database security, including data manipulation, data integrity, and user access and auditing.
  • Program and maintain third party integrations and local modifications to Banner.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have Oracle training
  • Significant experience in the BANNER and Oracle environments
  • Knowledge related to the deployment of administrative applications in a client/server environment.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • Seven (7) years of related experience required.
