Position Summary: Participate in cancer and general adult genetics clinics, practicing independently, and with medical geneticists or other specialty physicians. Provide appropriate patient counseling and risk assessment, clinical documentation and coordination of genetic testing, when needed. Be responsible for patient follow-up, including communication of test results and recommendations to physicians and patients by phone, face-to-face visit, or other means as appropriate. Respond to inquiries related to genetic testing/counseling services from health care professionals, patients, and the public. Participate in educational activities, which may include presentations to current and future health care professionals, and/or the lay public. Provide clinical supervision of rotating fellows, residents, medical students and genetic counseling students. Work effectively within an academic setting and within a health care team. Other clinical duties and responsibilities as they arise.

Education Requirements: Master's degree from a graduate program accredited by the American Board of Genetic Counseling. Board certification from ABGC.
Qualification and Experience: Preferred candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant genetic counseling experience including exposure to cancer and adult genetic counseling. Candidates must be board certified from ABGC.
