Job Description: The Director of Export Control and Research Compliance reports to the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Research. Building upon existing compliance practices implemented by the Office of Research Integrity and Compliance, the Director of Export Control and Research Compliance has primary responsibility for the development, implementation, and management of an enterprise-wide export control compliance program ECU and providing training and advice to the administration, employees, and students regarding export matters. The compliance program should address all applicable export control laws, regulations, and requirements, including, but not limited to, EAR, ITAR, and the Foreign Assets Control Regulations.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have a master's degree or equivalent and two years experience working with export compliance programs at a university, research organization, or industry. Must be either a U.S Citizen, a Permanent Resident Alien of the United States or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b9(a)(3) in order to pass and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
