PRODUCTION SPECIALIST, TSAI CENTER, Events & Conferences (4800/G1117)
This position supports programming at the Tsai Performance Center. Works with both University groups and external clients to plan and document event setup and technical needs. Execute events with student support staff. Must be skilled in lighting, sound, and media. Provide ongoing equipment maintenance. Strong computer skills are necessary. Coordinates the AV needs of academic classes held at Tsai and setup needs for academic music rehearsals and concerts. Assist with training and supervising student staff, both crew and ushers. Reports to Production Manager.
Bachelor's degree in related field and three to five years of experience to include technical theater and/or audio-visual for events; project and resource coordination; and effective interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends and a drivers license is required. Experience with Microsoft Office, QLab, Audacity, Lightwright, VectorWorks, ETC lighting consoles, Yamaha digital mixing consoles, Dante networking and social media preferred.
