Summary of Position:
The Department of Accountancy and Business Law has one or two vacancies for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting.
We expect the successful candidate to begin in January or August 2018 with a completed doctorate or ABD. Candidates must be capable of excellent/dynamic teaching, developing a strong research agenda, and teaching a variety of courses to enhance the B.S. and Master’s degrees in Accounting.
The department is open to candidates with interests in all functional areas.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit:
The Department of Accountancy and Business Law supports the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accountancy. At the graduate level, the Department offers the Master of Science in Accountancy degree and supports the Master of Business Administration degree offered by the Cameron School of Business.
The Cameron School of Business is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education, and has been earned by less than five percent of the world’s business programs. Today, there are 727 business schools in 48 countries and territories that maintain AACSB Accreditation.
