The Electrical Engineering Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Student Services Coordinator I to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Responsible for coordinating course schedules room assignments and all paperwork with Registrar.* Facilitates all enrollment needs for all students and student inquiries to the department.* Responsible for counseling, assessing, and resolving all advising needs for students of the department.* Coordinates with curriculum committees in development, modification, and implementation of EE curriculum.* Maintains all student files.* First point of contact as the Academic Coordinator for all student services and support.* Prepares and maintains all promotional recruiting materials for department programs.* Creates and maintains Faculty Textbook databases and makes textbook adoption submissions.* Develops and maintains a Student Event and activities calendar.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two years of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
