Unit Job Summary: Associate Director, Marketing Portfolio: Manage a portfolio of public open enrollment, tailored custom and possible association and partnership executive education programs including: relationship management with corporate customers; managing annual budget with profit and loss responsibility; portfolio strategy including new open and custom program development; faculty sourcing and relationship management with faculty and departmental partners. This position will require 30% travel. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -As a senior member of the Executive Education team, participate in establishing program objectives, long-term goals, division policies, and procedures. -Initiate and maintain contact with client organizations; coordinating activities with Executive Education's Business Development function. -Evaluate effectiveness of programs and revise curriculum as required. -Analyze financial performance and implement corrective administration action when appropriate. -Assist in preparing budgets; authorize payment for materials, facilities, staff and instructional faculty. -Plan, schedule and manage an assigned portion of the division's program portfolio. -Conduct on-going analysis of the state of the art business practices and competitive landscape. -Integrate faculty groups in the development of new products. -Engage in activities that promote Executive Education and Booth overall: speak at professional and alumni gatherings, contribute to development of thought leadership and present in appropriate forums. -Interview, hire, train and evaluate professional staff and instructional faculty. -Plan and evaluate program marketing and communications for managed portfolio.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree or higher required. MBA or Master's degree preferred.

Unit Experience: At least four years of management experience that includes the supervision of professional employees, required. At least three years of experience in business development/consultative selling in large firms with well-developed talent management systems and executive development strategies required. At least three years of executive education and management development or experience in a directly related field preferred.

Unit Job Function Competencies: Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentational, required. Computer proficiency with presentation and data analyses tools (e.g. MS Office) required. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with multiple tasks and strong customer service and profit driven goals required.
