Required Qualifications: (As Evidenced by an Attached Resume)
Bachelor's degree in public health or a related field or a Bachelor's degree in the life sciences (biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, etc.)
Advanced training in biostatistical analysis (regression modeling, survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, survey data analysis, etc.); familiarity with ArcGIS, R, Stata, SAS, SPSS, and Excel; experience tutoring biostatistics and data management; experience in qualitative research design, focus group facilitation, and data analysis (using Atlas.ti);
Brief Description of Duties:
The incumbent will aide faculty and residents in the development, design, and completion of the Department of Medicine research projects; the incumbent is required to provide both biostatistical and qualitative research support to faculty members. Successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written), excellent organizational skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively; ability to create presentations, lessons, and structured discussions for diverse audiences.
