Summary of Job Duties

The Manager supervises staff of 5 - 7 part time employees; hires, making work assignments, training, and evaluating the performance of incumbents; checks distribution report against ordered material and views condition of items ordered. This position welcomes customers to the store, assists them with and rings up their purchases, thanks them for coming into the store. The Manager maintains safe count audit; prepares daily deposits; sends faxes to accounting department for processing; reconciles safe counts; makes sure proper change is available for register operations; opens and closes store; counts register at closing; and oversees inventory concerns and operation of store on a daily basis. This position ensures store is clean and organized and performs other duties as assigned.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

  • At least three years of experience in inventory control, storeroom operations, or a related field; including one year in a leadership capacity
