The University of Kentucky is currently seeking an Assistant Professor of Pulmonology to participate in programs within the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and serve as an attending physician at the UK HealthCare Hospitals in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine inpatient and consult services. This position will provide care for the critically ill patients in the medical intensive care units (MICU) and will manage patients in outpatient and outreach clinics, and will contribute to the teaching responsibilities of the Department including participation in the Division's courses for medical students and teaching and supervising residents, fellows, and graduate students. This position is expected to perform didactic lectures in the classroom setting, and hands-on training for medical students, interns, residents and fellows, and serve on applicable University and College of Medicine committees. In addition, the Assistant Professor will perform clinical research in the area of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, on call as needed. Expected to take weekend/holiday call in the MICU and approximately 15 nights of in house call/year.
