HCC is currently seeking a Business Analyst, PeopleSoft I, who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.

Your mission: Maintain security setup for all PeopleSoft Systems (HRs, Finance, Student Administration), and assist in performing quality assurance testing for software systems and training initiatives in the Applications Development Department.
A typical day: Throughout the day, you'll respond to routine questions, phone calls and user requests for applications systems support assistance. You'll assist Sr. Business Analysts with comparative analyses, and maintain PeopleSoft reporting structures. Providing technical and functional training, and participating in QA testing will also be typical activities for you.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in HRs, Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Management or a relevant field, or four (4) years directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in the use of personal computers (including client-servers/ Web) for business applications.
Work experience in higher education institution or community college environment is preferred.
Experience in facilitating training classes and utilization of UPK software preferred.
One (1) year customer service/user support related assistance required.
Two (2) years PeopleSoft functional and/or technical experience preferred.
Some Vignette Portal content management experience preferred.
HCCS experience highly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Must be well organized, able to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent tasks, and be able to manage sensitive data and/or information in a confidential manner.
Ability to function independently on assigned project work, and interface with all levels of the HCCS organization in carrying out the duties required of this position.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Knowledge of all functional areas within assigned function.
Ability to organize data in a clear and logical manner for reporting purposes required.
Ability to analyze and evaluate complex information from internal and external sources, required.
Proficiency with Windows and all Microsoft Office software required.
