Job description

The Department of Diagnostic Sciences at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry invites applicants to apply for a full-time, teacher-scholar track position; 4 days per week, 52 weeks per year; tenure eligible; reporting directly to the Associate Dean for Oral Health Education. The Diagnostic Science Department at the University is responsible for providing curricular content in the following primary areas: 1.) Diagnostic sciences and services (Oral Diagnosis and Treatment Planning, Radiology, Pathology, Orofacial Pain), 2.) Behavioral sciences (Patient communication, Ethics, Jurisprudence, Practice Management), 3.) Integrated Clinical Science strand 4.) Community Programs; and 5.) Pacific’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. The department also participates in the diagnostic and preventive content for the Dental Hygiene program and supports inter­ and intra­professional learning opportunities of our students and residents.
