Chairperson Department of Diagnostic Sciences
The Department of Diagnostic Sciences at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry invites applicants to apply for a full-time, teacher-scholar track position; 4 days per week, 52 weeks per year; tenure eligible; reporting directly to the Associate Dean for Oral Health Education. The Diagnostic Science Department at the University is responsible for providing curricular content in the following primary areas: 1.) Diagnostic sciences and services (Oral Diagnosis and Treatment Planning, Radiology, Pathology, Orofacial Pain), 2.) Behavioral sciences (Patient communication, Ethics, Jurisprudence, Practice Management), 3.) Integrated Clinical Science strand 4.) Community Programs; and 5.) Pacific’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. The department also participates in the diagnostic and preventive content for the Dental Hygiene program and supports inter and intraprofessional learning opportunities of our students and residents.
