JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Counseling Center is seeking a part time, temporary Staff Mental Health Therapist. The Staff Mental Health Therapist provides a broad range of direct mental health services to Holy Cross students including the following: diagnostic assessment and evaluation; individual psychotherapy; group therapy; crisis intervention; consultation; and outreach programming and training. Provides consultative mental health services to members of the Holy Cross community including faculty members, staff members, deans, administrators, and parents. Coordinates programs for the Counseling Center as assigned. Participates in the Counseling Center's evening and weekend on-call duties, and emergency and crisis response procedures.


REQUIREMENTS:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited program; licensed to provide mental health services independently in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; experience in a college or university counseling center is preferred; strong clinical psychotherapeutic skills; and demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.

This is a temporary position. 40 hours/week for 9 weeks.
