The Director of Housing is a full time, twelve month live-in position that will be responsible for managing the day to day housing operations for the university. In addition, they will manage all housing assignments, maintaining the housing software system and coordinating facility plans. This position will also oversee the housing selection process and RA selection process. The director will provide leadership for the overall campus living and learning experience and manage all related tasks associated with maintaining a residential community.

The person in this position will work closely with two other live-in professionals to provide a comprehensive residential programming on campus. This position will manage a residential area of 3 residence halls (approximately 200 students) and supervise 5 to 8 resident assistants. Responsibilities will include staff training, conflict mediation, crisis intervention, and the implementation of residence hall programming designed to complement the goals of the residence life program and mission of the University. This live in position will require flexible hours, a team building attitude and a sincere desire to work with students in a religiously affiliated private liberal arts university environment. This person will serve on a three person on-call rotation for campus emergencies.

A Master's degree from an accredited college or university is required.  A Master’s in Student Personnel/Counseling or related field is strongly preferred.  Preference will be given to candidates with 2-3 years post graduate work experience.
