REGISTRAR COORDINATOR, School of Dental Medicine, Office of the Dean (G072017)
The main responsibility of this position is to maintain student related academic information, which includes managing all stages of the GSDM postdoctoral grading system: registration on the dental school and University's (UIS) student information systems, gathering and reconciling grades and making independent decisions related to school and University policy. This position is also responsible for maintaing the transcript databases, processing transcript and verification requests, resolving student account issues, and providing excellent customer service to students, almumni, faculty and staff. In addition, this position will assist the Registrar and Assistant Registrar with special projects, various statistical reports and all major functions and activities of the office. This position shares the role of the 'face of the office.' Additional responsibilities include assisting with international student semester verification, proofing University and dental school graduation programs, assists with updating the Office of the Registrar website. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to multitask are required. Time management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize requests are crucial.
Must have a Bachelors Degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
