The Deaf/HH Services ASL/English Interpreter would provide service to Deaf students, faculty, staff and visitors in multiple forums including but not limited to classroom, administrative meetings, special events, and campus activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Well-developed ASL/Eng interpreting skills.
Knowledge of and ability to apply professional standards, linguistic and cultural strategies, and sophisticated decision-making in a rigorous academic and professional setting. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Effective work management strategies.
Ability to identify and address obstacles to linguistic access. Ability to work in multi-culturally diverse environment.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication in daily interactions.
Ability to perform in multiple forums to a range of audiences.
