The Center for Anatomical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire an Anatomy Laboratory Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Prepare and maintain cadavers for courses and the Center's BioSkills Laboratory. * Knowledgeable or willing to learn new embalming techniques that may be used in clinical/surgical training courses. * Awareness of current embalming procedures are needed in order to maintain a safe working environment for students, faculty, and staff. * Willing to work with donors and their families, sometimes visiting nursing homes, hospice facilities, and hospitals to hand out materials for those wanting to donate their bodies to our institution for medical education purposes. * Oversee some student lab assistants to keep the entire anatomy facilities clean and ready for TCOM, PA/PT, and Medical Sciences course laboratory sessions.
