Posting Summary:
The Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL) in the Curry School of Education seeks applicants for multiple part-time DCPS Project Assistants. DCPS Project Assistanst support data collection efforts of the UVA-DCPS Research Partnership Project by filming project participants in upper elementary classrooms located in Washington, D.C. Duties also including uploading video, sharing video through project platforms, and cataloging data.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, a bachelor's degree or current enrollment in an institution of higher education is preferred. Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required. Strong ability to multitask and take initiative to work independently is essential, as are excellent interpersonal skills, and being comfortable interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Reliable transportation for traveling between schools (mileage reimbursed) is required. Ability to use and troubleshoot technology, including video cameras, laptops and tablets is essential.
