University of North Texas - Administrative Specialist II
The Office of Admissions Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist II to join our team. The Administrative Specialist II is a key member in the 5-person team responsible for processing both domestic and international undergraduate applications to UNT. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Verifying and data entry of academic credentials and test results.* Updating application checklists.* Entering admissions decisions.* Entering transfer credit.* Linking imaged documents to applications on file.* Routing applications for counselor or committee review.* Routing documents appropriately after admission to u.achieve or imaging.* Processing admissions decision packets.* Assisting students with inquiries re: applications via phone, email or in person.* Excellent attention to detail, especially with high volume workload.* Ability to prioritize.* Flexibility to changing priorities.* Excellent customer service skills.* A can-do attitude.* Ability to work both as a motivated individual and as a cohesive team.* Willingness to work occasional extended hours during registration and peak processing periods.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and two years of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed.
