The University of Florida, Department of Medicine, and Division of Cardiovascular Medicine are seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor with innovative leadership skills and good interpersonal skills to become an active and integral member of the Division and the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center. Most academic activities take place at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, a tertiary care teaching hospital directly across the street from the University of Florida, College of Medicine. The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System, of which the Malcolm Randall VAMC is the flagship hospital, is an integral part of the educational and research mission of the University of Florida, College of Medicine.
This can be either a tenure-track or non-tenure accruing position. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Applicants should have a record of distinguished accomplishments and proficiency in clinical duties, administration, and clinical investigation to include mentoring new physicians, fostering a progressive and dynamic work environment, and promoting teaching and research. Responsibilities will include research in cardiac care and cardiac clinical services at both Shand's Hospital at the University of Florida and at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center. Clinical duties will include performance and teaching in general cardiology at both institutions as well as outpatient clinic duties at the University or VA clinics.Advertised Salary:

Applicants must have a medical degree, Florida Medical License, and board certification in Cardiology. Candidates must have excellent communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:
