The Records Coordinator position in the Enrollment Service Center ( ESC ) is a campus Liaison for academic transcripts providing official or unofficial transcripts to staff in various departments throughout campus for student certification purposes and 3rd party requests. This person also assists with the Commencements to include working at the ceremony. This person will provide exemplary customer service to students/parents/faculty and staff serving as a generalist for Financial Aid and Registrar. This position will also assist the front desk as needed.
High School Diploma or GED required and two or more years office experience. Customer Service experience required with preference given to those with higher education experience in a student services environment. Must have experience in complex computerized information systems is required with direct experience in Oracle Customer Relations Manager (CRM) and Ellucian Banner, Xtender, and Degree Works being a plus. Must have excellent organizational and planning skills and be able to communicate effectively (oral and written). Ability to work in a team environment, and in sometime intense situations. Must be deadline oriented with the ability to make sound informed decisions, anticipate the needs of students, and common office processes.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preference given to candidates that have extensive experience with and understanding the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974.
Salary $12.45 minimum - $15.93 midpoint
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Ability to sit and work at a computer up to 8 hours per day, moving about the office freely, able to maneuver across campus in a timely manner, working as a team member. Communicate without restrictions and work outside the normal work schedule.
