The Department of Integrated Health Sciences at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time (12 month), non-tenure track faculty position to be filled at the rank of assistant/associate/full professor. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is provided. Our program is located in Ashburn, Virginia and provides a dynamic academic environment that fosters collaborative educational and research initiatives and interprofessional approaches to training health care professionals.

Responsibilities include teaching face-to-face laboratory courses across the medical laboratory science curriculum as well as online didactic courses in health sciences; engaging in scholarly activities; advising and mentoring students; and providing service at the university, community and professional level.

Basic Requirements:  Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited MLS program; possess current national MLS certification; have a minimum of a Master’s degree in health sciences or a related field at time of appointment; have at least two years of full time experience working as a laboratory scientist in a clinical laboratory at time of appointment; and have a minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience at time of appointment.
