Psychiatry Faculty Position

The Department of Clinical Sciences at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member in Psychiatry.  This position can be tenure- or non-tenure track and shall be filled at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor commensurate with experience. Ideally the successful candidate will have clinical and teaching experience. The successful candidate must be able to be licensed to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia.

Academic and clinical responsibilities are shared within this position. Academic duties include training medical students, interns and residents with the primary responsibility being instruction of first and second year medical students in the classroom, lab and/or in the clinic. Academic responsibilities may include preparing and delivering lectures, assisting in skills labs, and other small group activities.

Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefits package including medical malpractice insurance, educational loan reimbursement, and relocation expenses.  Our ambulatory clinic is a state-of-the art facility serving communities in the greater Greenbrier Valley.
