Job Summary/Basic Function: Part-time faculty on the SAN ANTONIO campus. The successful candidate(s) will teach introductory Philosophy courses required for the general education core, based on academic qualifications. Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments are all in face-to-face format and may include day or night classes.
Work Hours: Depends on course schedule. Teaching assignments may include day, night, and weekend classes.

Prior to issuing a letter of appointment, official transcripts must be received directly from each degree-granting institution by the Office of the Dean, College of Arts & Sciences, Texas A&M University-San Antonio, One University Way, San Antonio, Texas 78224. We cannot accept transcripts issued directly to the candidate. If transcripts are from an international institution, it is the responsibility of the prospective faculty member to have the transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved credential evaluator.

Necessary Qualifications: A Master's degree in Philosophy or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in Philosophy, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Necessary Qualifications: A minimum of one year college or university teaching experience.
