Required Qualifications: (As Evidenced by an Attached Resume)
Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree and two (2) years of directly related experience may be considered. A minimum of two (2) years of full time related clinical/research experience. Knowledge of IRB and regulatory processes. Demonstrated computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and databases. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with OnCore CTMS or other Clinical Trials Management Systems. Experience in hospital/academic setting
Brief Description of Duties:
The Project Staff Assistant, working under the direction of the leadership of the Office of Clinical Trials at Stony Brook will serve as the front end administrator of the OnCore Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) and as a facilitator during Stony Brook Medicine’s training sessions. The successful incumbent must have the following skills/abilities: exceptional verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills along with the ability to interact with a diverse constituent population, ability to work independently and as part of a team environment, strong organizational and prioritization skills, along with the ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks, ability to be task and detail oriented. Ability to travel to off-site locations for training sessions, as needed.
