Visiting Assistant Professor - Construction Management #002029
Posting Information: This is a 9-month fixed term position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include instruction and service to the School and College of Engineering and Technology. Candidates must be able to teach a variety of courses in construction management in an American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) accredited curriculum.
Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: Candidates must possess an earned master degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, architecture/architectural engineering, or closely related discipline from an accredited institution. Preference will be given to persons with significant construction management experience, This position requires demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication, along with excellent interpersonal skills. Applicants for this position must be able to demonstrate potential for excellence in both teaching and service. Industry experience is required, and familiarity with ACCE accreditation is highly desirable. Successful candidates will be expected to support the University's external engagement mission, the application of scholarship through the Boyer Model, and our quality enhancement program (QEP).
