Summary of Duties:
The Administrative Manager is responsible for managing front desk operations and customer services functions for Human Resource Services. Responsible for overseeing a variety of administrative functions for HRS including independently managing front office operations, office record keeping, preparing personnel and fiscal documents, and establishing office procedures, standards, priorities, and deadlines. Oversee and assist with the execution of the employee recognition programs. Provides administrative support to the Assistant Director on operations of Human Resource Services. Additionally this position serves as a point of contact for the office and must maintain strict confidentiality of all business matters.
The Administrative Manager is responsible for providing complex, confidential support for the Associate Vice President and Chief HR Officer, HR managers, and other office staff as needed. Responsibilities include: managing meeting requests and scheduling; attending meetings as a representative; independently planning and compiling reports and creating and editing documents, coordinating travel and clerical support and maintaining databases and office records;. Under delegated authority provide administrative oversight for HRS processes including safety and communications.
Positions require a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and four (4) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
