Screening Room Manager

Reporting to the Associate Production Manager, will manage all print traffic for the screening room, including but not limited to VMA, Bright Lights, SAC films, AE films, Film Festivals, External client screenings, This position will be responsible managing all activities in the screening room: support setting up, technological support and closing of academic classes in the screening room. Schedule and execute quality control screenings for AE and VMA. This position will be responsible for operating small events, conferences, faculty meetings etc… that take place in the screening room. Additionally, will manage the overhire projectionist schedules to keep within the allotted 1000 hours per fiscal year. Manage maintenance schedule and contractors used for said maintenance. Manage ingest of DCP material into the screening room server. This position will work with AE marketing on trailer specifications for screening room as well as work with AE marketing to have trailers screened at appropriate times. Responsible for sending out end of night reports from the projectionist to OA production and OA General Manager. This position will need to act as projectionist when necessary.The position will be require to participate in OA production weekly staff meetings as well as monthly OA Full staff meetings.

Campus Location: Boston Campus

Required Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrable knowledge of Digital and Film projection equipment

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
Additional knowledge of 35mm and 16mm formats preferred. Up to date in digital film processing and projection. Experience in Extron automation systems

Required Prior Work Experience:
Five years progressive experience in projection.
