Position Summary:

Assistant Professor of Nurse Anesthesia is a 9 month appointment, and is associated primarily with the Nurse Anesthesia Graduate Nursing Option.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and/or workload will encompass both didactic and clinical education, as well as program and curriculum development, student advising, and general departmental duties for graduate students enrolled in the College of Nursing and Health Professions’ Nurse Anesthesia Option.

Nurse Anesthesia faculty members are expected to maintain involvement in college and/or program committees, and continuing professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

Unrestricted and valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license.

Nurse Anesthesia Practice experience of at least two (2) years.

Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
