Job Description
  • Actively participate in a team of exceptionally sharp and motivated personnel.
  • Conduct data analysis of extremely large transaction universe data sets.
  • Research/identify and provide input to the design of key business intelligence and reporting metrics
  • Identify issues with reporting tools, data access/availability and reports/applications
  • Research/identify and provide input to the design of key business intelligence and reporting metrics
  • Research, define and document business requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree; preferred majors are Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems Management or similar.
  • At least five years of experience supporting or working in a Federal government or DoD organization (must have experience working in Federal environment as a consultant, military, or civil service).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five to eight years of professional experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, including: analyzing large data sets, trend analysis, identification and resolution of risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to address identified risks.
  • Fluency with all facets of SAP Business Objects, including report generation, data visualization, dashboards, and data analytics
  • Knowledge of Department of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (DoN ERP) preferred, but other federal SAP experience is acceptable
  • Strong understanding of data, relational databases, and experience in dealing with large datasets (hundreds of millions of records).
  • Experience with Alteryx (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with DoDAF and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) or Financial Improvement Program (FIP) guidance.
  • Professional certifications: CPA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, CDFM, etc.
  • The ideal candidate has Federal financial systems experience working with OCIO and OCFO community as an employee of a Military Department/Service, a consulting firm or an IPA.

MINIMUM SECURITY REQUIRED: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain DoD secret clearance and/or public trust.
