Posting Summary:
The Institute for the Humanities and Global Cultures (IHGC) at the University of Virginia invites applications for the position of Project Coordinator to support the Humanities Informatics Lab and the IHGC related projects.

The Humanities Informatics Lab brings together scholars at UVA working on questions arising from the management, control, and flow of information in both historical and contemporary contexts.

This position assists the Director by planning project related events and logistics and is responsible for scheduling meetings, making travel and lodging arrangements, publicizing project events and promoting the project on social media.

The position will also assist in the preparation of reports, developing/maintaining project website information and maintaining listservs. The incumbent in this position will also oversee project expenses and will be responsible for accounts receivable/payable, conducting monthly reconciliation and purchasing project supplies.

This is a 9-month position. The work and wages paid coincide with the academic year (August - May). The exact dates of the academic year change each calendar year.
