General Summary: The Department of Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia, Dahlonega campus, is seeking applications for a one-year full-time, limited term faculty position (with benefits) in Art Appreciation/Art History.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will teach art appreciation and additional art history courses in area of expertise as needed.
  • Teaching assignments will be on the Dahlonega campus, and may include evening classes.
  • Other duties include holding office hours, attending department meetings, and maintaining appropriate class records.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • The position requires an M.A. in art history.
  • Prior teaching experience at the college level. Ph.D. in art history preferred.
