Job Description

The Department of Health Psychology in the School of Health Professions at the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU), seeks applicants for an Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor. This position will be housed at the MU Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders.

The faculty member will work primarily full-time in the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, which serves children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and other neurodevelopmental conditions, and their families. The position may include the following: conducting psychological or neuropsychological assessments, providing intervention services, and conducting behavioral consultations, in many cases as part of an interdisciplinary team. At least one year of experience in an interdisciplinary ASD clinic and applicants who are research reliable on the ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R is preferred, but not mandatory. Other responsibilities include the supervision of trainees, including pre-doctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows, and participation in research activities. Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or equivalent, from an APA-approved program and will have completed postdoctoral training in pediatric psychology, and/or pediatric neuropsychology. Additionally, applicants must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, in the state of Missouri.




Salary

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience; the position includes a competitive compensation and benefit package.
