The Student Affairs Officer III (SAO III) works to ensure that Academic Coaching program and services provide maximum effectiveness and quality while maintaining high efficiency. The SAO III engages faculty, students and staff to collaborate, explore, design, market, benchmark, and implement high-impact practices for all students.

This position will provide academic consultations, workshops, training sessions, and coursework to a diverse group of undergraduate students (e.g. Study Skills, Academic Support, Readiness, Transition, Academic Success Strategies).

This position supervises, trains, and develops student staff (Graduate/Teaching Assistants, Peer Coaches). Oversee and implement policies and procedures.

The SAO III will support Academic Coaching and Transformative Learning by collecting and evaluating data related to programs, courses, and services.

Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods of time; occasionally working long hours; occasionally lifting or pushing items (less than 25lbs) across campus for tabling or presentations.


Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.; occasional nights and weekends


All MS Office apps, SAP, Canvas, exceptional leadership, organization, interpersonal skills, previous experience in academic support services or academic coaching.
