The newly created Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Health Professions at Lebanon Valley College is seeking a qualified applicant for a full time 12-month tenure track faculty position to begin January of 2018 at the rank of assistant professor.  We seek forward thinking individuals who can successfully engage our students in the classroom with a strong commitment to current research and evidence based practice. We are accepting students into the undergraduate program in the fall of 2017 and seeking accreditation through the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA). We will be moving into the new Jeanne and Edward H. Arnold Health Professions Pavilion in 2018.

Candidates must have PhD or equivalent in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC/SLP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: voice disorders, motor speech disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, cleft and craniofacial disorders, and / or adult neurogenic communication disorders. Teaching and clinical supervision experience, familiarity with ASHA standards, policies and procedures; and evidence of a commitment to inclusion and educational excellence are also required. Teaching will consist of both undergraduate and graduate level courses as well as clinical supervision.
