Job Description

The Job
We need an intelligent, enthusiastic, hard working person with good computer skills to do heavy customer service, and to schedule and dispatch technicians. This person will also learn all aspects of the installation and service departments. Alarm industry experience is not required. This job requires heavy customer service by telephone, and the pace is often hectic. You will resolve customer problems, create and download system programs, order equipment, oversee inventory, compile various data and reports and coordinate activities with other departments.

This position offers the opportunity to learn the entire operation of the company and provides an ideal entrance into management.

This job requires a person with a quick mind who likes helping people and who isn't afraid to deal with difficult situations, make tough decisions, and do whatever it takes to get the best result. This is a typical daytime job, however, the successful candidate must be available to work long and irregular hours as needed.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Dispatch and schedule service calls and installations
Oversee warehouse and inventory
Telephone customer service
Coordinate construction projects
Interface with sales
Create weekly and monthly management reports
Download programming of alarm control panels

Experience/Abilities (Qualifications)
College degree
Desire for personal growth and advancement.
Computer skills - Windows, MS Word and Excel.
Good oral and written communication skills.
