Job Description

Brugh Industrial Engineering is an industry leader in providing custom automation integration and automated solutions worldwide. We are looking to expand our talented team of engineers to support our explosive growth. Our Mechanical Automation Design Engineer (Senior Engineer) position will work both collaboratively and independently to design custom automated solutions, from full robotic assembly lines to custom tooling.

Essential Duties:
  • Responsible for the full design and detailing of custom equipment based on customer specifications and requirements utilizing 3D modeling software (Soldiworks)
  • Will interact closely with the fabrication team from start through installation
  • Monitor project schedules and deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Ensure projects and design meet all industry specific requirements
  • Work closely with the Electrical Automation Engineers to develop complete systems and solutions
  • Support equipment installation and customer requirements
  • Design 3D concepts for the sales team
  • Travel requirements historically less than 10% per year (dependent on project workload)
  • Project documentation, 2D/3D drafting and machine shop interface

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 3+ Years relevant work experience
  • Engineering Degree, Mechanical or Mechanical Technology Degree preferred
  • Expert proficiency in 3D Modeling/Design software including Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, and/or PTC Creo
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability to independently prioritize a fast-paced workload
  • FULLY FLUENT IN SOLIDWORKS
