Position Summary: The UNC School of Medicine is seeking an EPA non-faculty position for the role of Coordinator of Inter-Professional Education in Health Professions. This newly established role will be an integral member of the Rural Inter-Professional Health Initiative team. The Coordinator for Inter-Professional Education (IPE) in Health Professions will play an integral role in supporting the mission to align UNC health affairs clinical education programs to improve inter-professional practice. Primary responsibilities will include coordination of site visits for faculty champions, operating as the staff liaison to clinical sites, and direct support to the Director of the Office of Rural Initiatives, the Director of Inter-Professional Education. The Coordinator for IPE will be engaged with the IPE faculty mentor and faculty champions from the health affairs schools that are part of the inter-professional initiative. Essential components of the position will be the ability to collaborate with each school's clinical site coordinator to establish contracts and compliance standards, school's registrar to ensure students are enrolled and registered for appropriate course and clinical rotations, and accounting offices to ensure appropriate reimbursement and utilization of project funds and faculty support. Additional responsibilities will include data collection and analysis to identify potential expansion sites and work with IPE Director to identify funding opportunities, recording of meeting notes and dissemination, point of contact for faculty champions related to site development needs, and serve as a representative with campus partners to align and coordinate efforts. Ideal candidates will have ability to work independently with demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate strong inter-personal communication skills with a variety of stakeholders. Experience with project management, program planning and evaluation, and ability to manage various tasks.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from accredited university.

Qualification and Experience: At least 3- 5 years of experience within the health care environment or relevant program management; Inter-professional education and small group facilitation; Computer office software (Word, Power Point, Internet, Database management systems).
