SR. ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ALUMNI CAREER MANAGEMENT
Duties: The Senior Associate Director (Sr. AD) of Alumni Career Management instructs, counsels, and advises MBA alumni who are at various stages of their career (early-career, mid-career, and executive alumni). Topics can include career relaunching, job seeking, career switching, and ongoing career progression, working with alumni in the following industry areas: Consulting, Consumer Products, Diversified Financial Services, Energy, Health Care, Hedge Funds, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Private Equity, Public Interest, Real Estate, Retail, Technology / Telecom, Travel & Hospitality, Venture Capital. This position will also take on various projects such as the Board of Director Resume Book, alumni survey efforts, website and resource development and programming. This role is involved in student and alumni engagement programs and the individual will serve on several cross-school committees. The Senior Associate Director of Alumni Career Management will work with the Director of Alumni Career Management to advise alumni, manage projects and help support office and school mission and metrics.
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience is required, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. MBA or other graduate degree strongly preferred along with a minimum of five to seven years of prior work experience in recruiting, job placement, career counseling or coaching and/or significant industry experience in one or more of the following industries: Consulting, Consumer Products, Diversified Financial Services, Energy, Health Care, Hedge Funds, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Private Equity, Public Interest, Real Estate, Retail, Technology / Telecom, Travel & Hospitality, Venture Capital. Highly motivated and dedicated individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Previous managerial experience required, along with an ability to work as a strong team player. Able to interact across multiple levels, and willingness to go above and beyond in order to achieve the required goals. Deep knowledge of business and business careers, and strong written and oral communication skills, are essential. Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally.
