Position Summary: The Executive Director will strengthen the Center for Community Capital's efforts to create public policies, programs, and products that will make financial markets work better for more people, particularly those in disadvantaged communities and of low to moderate incomes. The Executive Director will work closely with the Director to undertake strategic planning efforts, determine and implement Center priorities, coordinate and supervise all Center staff, raise funds from private and government sources, evaluate and manage proposals and budgets, oversee program implementation, and publicize program and research results. The Executive Director will also be responsible for research on projects related to mortgage finance, housing, community development, and wealth accumulation in underserved neighborhoods. The Executive Director/Research Associate will produce original research, conduct literature reviews, and interpret statistical output through oral presentations, written summaries, and published papers. The Executive Director/Research Associate will develop a body of work for the Center through activities such as keeping abreast of the field, representing the Center in conferences and meetings, helping to disseminate and assimilate findings, submitting funding proposals, and building relationships among researchers, practitioners, and policy makers in this field.

Education Requirements: Minimum Requirement: A Master's degree in relevant field of study. Preferred : A MBA or Doctorate degree in the social sciences in relevant field.

Qualification and Experience: Expertise and background in the consumer finance, mortgage finance, housing, community development, economic mobility, or access to instruments of wealth accumulation in under served neighborhoods and its academic literature as well as experience in inferential statistical analysis.
