Posting Information: The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a range of technical solutions (primarily .NET web applications) that originate with IT project requests. Solutions range from performing feasibility of a new feature to standing up 3rd party software to building custom solutions within adopted frameworks. Development duties mainly consist of creating and maintaining web applications and web services using object-oriented languages, leveraging object-relational mapping frameworks for database operations, and collaborating with other developers to develop and maintain internal frameworks. The developer participates in all aspects of the system development life cycle ; analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Note: some telecommuting is allowed for this position

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or Engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in business application consulting or development; or a Bachelor's degree with some computer coursework from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in business applications consulting or development; or an Associate's degree in computer programming and three years of experience in application consulting or development: or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RESTful web services, Oracle, SQL, Java, C#, .NET Framework, JavaScript, Microsoft Model-View-Controller Framework, Microsoft Entity Framework Experience as a business analyst and/or technical architect.
