This is a new Professional Research Assistant position in the Psychology & Neuroscience Department, in the Cognitive Development Center (http://www.colorado.edu/cognitivedevelopment/). The successful applicant will manage an active lab of 15-20 undergraduates, graduates, and postdoctoral researchers. Responsibilities include: 1) assisting and training new lab members on interacting with families, running experiments, and coding videotapes, 2) helping to recruit new families and personnel, 3) maintaining and upgrading experimental computers and a/v equipment, 4) overseeing purchases and participant funds, 5) managing a lab database and website, and 6) assisting with the preparation of publications and grant proposals. Opportunities to gain research experience in developmental cognitive neuroscience are also available.


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
Leadership or managerial experience
Experience with children
Strong writing and communication skills
Statistical analysis skills
Experience in any aspect of developmental cognitive neuroscience
Prior experience working in a lab/research setting
