Position Description: Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses, with preference given to professional sales and/or marketing strategy courses at the main campus and the Round Rock Higher Education Center; conducting and publishing high-quality scholarly research; and providing service to the profession, service to the department, service to McCoy College and the University, and the business community that is consistent with the college mission.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or closely related business field; ABDs will be considered depending on their program completion date. Appointment at the assistant professor or associate professor rank requires evidence of published research, demonstrated teaching accomplishments, and a stated interest in teaching professional sales and/or marketing strategy courses.

To be eligible for hire at the associate professor rank, candidate must meet the requirements for that rank as established by the college. The successful applicant will receive the appropriate rank and title based on university and college established standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who provide evidence of excellence in teaching and scholarly research.
