Senior Space Management Analyst
Under direction from the Director, independently conducts analyses required to assess the utilization of space by campus units. Analysis requires the consideration of multiple variables including University policies, goals, and budget; identification of appropriate data sources; determination of appropriate methods for analysis; and development of final reporting format.
In conjunction with the Director, conducts audits of campus space to determine actual usage. Assists in identifying new opportunities for greater efficiencies in the utilization of space by the campus.
In conjunction with the Director, prepares reports that provide data to address the space concerns of the campus, including needs analysis, planning, construction, management, and allocation of all space within the campus domain.
In conjunction with the Director, evaluates potential relocation and space renovation options, formulates final recommendations, and presents findings to officials within Planning & Budget and the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor.
Monitors selected space initiatives including, but not limited to, moves and renovations. Tracks expenditures and reconciles budgets. Works with pertinent parties to resolve complaints and problems.
Establishes and maintains relationships with campus departments. Builds and maintains relationships with similar offices throughout the UC system and within the Office of the President.
Prepares materials for the Director as needed for special meetings.
Provides all aspects of Space Management analytical support, as requested.
Maintains Space Management records, as requested.
Provides support for ad hoc groups and meetings considering a variety of campus issues.
Completes special projects as assigned.
Undertakes other duties as assigned.
