General Summary of Position:
The Associate Director has two primary responsibilities for 1) facilities operation and management of the Innovation Hub Haverhill and 2)development and support of revenue-generating educational and event programming across the facility. The Associate Director serves as the primary day-to-day contact for inventors/ entrepreneurs, and external partners collaborating with the Innovation Hub Haverhill, including use of the facility for OCE and Executive Education programs. The Associate Director reports to the Director/Senior Director, Innovation Hub and is a member of the Innovation Hub Advisory Board. The Associate Director works collaboratively with internal and external entities to promote the University's education and economic development mission, to support fundraising and business development, and to ensure the smooth flow of business operations for the Innovation Hub Haverhill. The Associate Director manages relationships with incubator members, supervises student and volunteer workers, organizes programs, events and workshops, and implements marketing and outreach activities.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-Bachelor's Degree in STEM, business or related field
-Five to ten years years experience in development of educational programming
-Facility and / or program management experience in diverse, entrepreneurial, cross-functional environment
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
-Demonstrated event planning and marketing experience
-Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other departments and organizations

Other Considerations:
-Master's Degree or equivalent experience
-Demonstrated experience in supporting early stage technology-based ventures and the corresponding entrepreneurs
-Demonstrated experience in marketing and/or public relations
-Demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills
-Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively in a team, as well as independently with limited supervision
-Demonstrated strong organizational skills
-Proficient in MS Office suite and willingness to learn new programs and applications
