  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot office equipment to include photocopiers, fax machines, laser printers, computers and scanners, to include resolving paper jams, AND changing toner.

TASKS/SERVICES. The CSPs shall:
  • Serve as the Events Coordinator for the Warrior Transition Brigade (WTB) and WTB Command Group. Primary duties include working directly with the WTB patient care teams and the Wounded, Ill and Injured Warriors and their families to coordinate and schedule visits and events in an effort to support the continued recover and well-being of the wounded Warriors.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute all White House, Congressional and other high visibility events, working directly with the Warrior Family Coordination Cell (WFCC), Executive Services, Inpatient Warrior and Family Liaison Officer, and The Office of The Chief Legislative Liaison
  • Serves as coordinator for external requests from local organizations and government agencies to support special programs, tours, and special events
  • Work directly with patient care teams to determine the eligibility (medically) of Warriors to attend off post events
  • Independently develops, integrates and executes liaison support for the WTB and the WTB Warriors
  • Receives, and processes all event applications
  • Complete all necessary documentation for facility requests and support
  • Brief WTB Warriors during formations on present and future events
  • Develop checklists, plans and documents for each event
  • Coordinate with transportation to schedule vehicles, vans, buses, and equipment as well as personnel to serve as escorts
  • Ensure the requested targeted audience has full clearance from all officials (medical, security, legal and other responsible officials)
  • Follows up with each event to ensure support is preserved
  • Coordinates and ensures that appropriate support personnel are secured to assist the Warriors in accordance with their medical needs
  • Brief WTB Command on all event planning and coordination by preparing, disseminating, and processing distinguished visitor tracking matrices
  • Prepare briefings and after-action reports for WTB Commander
  • Maintain all confidentiality requirements as governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accounting Act (HIPAA)
  • Coordinate with the Warrior Family Coordination Cell (WFCC), Executive Services, and NSAB for Distinguish Visitors visiting company areas and for Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Serve in the Protocol capacity performing a variety of duties to include preparing and coordinating distinguished visitor's itineraries. Brief assigned projects to the WTB Command and Operations Officer in Charge (OIC) and Sergeant Major (SGM).
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee the conduct of official social functions and military ceremonies hosted by the Commander, WTB
  • Inspect preparations and is present to oversee functions to completion independently or in conjunction with Protocol Officer
  • Develop invitation database to include mail labels and postage. Distributes invitations and monitors responses.
  • Develop seating arrangements in accordance with established protocol practices
  • Coordinate all parking requirements
  • Monitor a completed itinerary for dignitaries, based upon incomplete and general guidance
  • Select places and events for the visitor to attend based on information obtained from individual biographical data
  • Arrange for selected persons to serve as escort officer, host or interpreter
  • Brief assigned escort officers and drivers and serves as their point-of-contact throughout the visit
  • Make necessary transportation arrangements for on-post events
  • Ensure time schedules are followed or are adjusted as needed
  • Arrange for proper publicity, official photos, and official ceremonies
  • Coordinate with proper units and designated staff offices for briefings and discussions; arranges tours of post facilities
  • Prepare and publish visitor's coordinated itinerary
  • Prepare after-action reports for historical reference, which detail the difficulties, challenges, lessons learned and recommendations of major events
  • Provide routine office support by answering phones, filing, faxing and distributing correspondence
  • Prepare and publish events coordinated agendas as needed, interprets requests and helps with implementation
  • Provide short suspense reports on a regular basis
  • Schedules and maintains a database tracking system of all incoming and completed events
  • Plans, coordinates and assists with execution of all high visibility events
  • Serve as liaison for external requests from local organizations and government agencies
  • Work directly with patient care teams to determine medical eligibility of Warriors to attend off post events
  • Brief WTB Soldiers during Wednesday formations on present and future events
  • Develop checklists, plans, matrices, and documents on each event
  • Brief WTB Command on all event planning and coordination

Required license or certification:
  • Must have a Secret Clearance
